The European Dental Students' Association (EDSA) is an international organization of dental students founded in 1988, with more than 70,000 members from 35 European countries.

The aim of the Association is to motivate dental students to cooperate and preserve common interests. By participating in various projects of the Association, students are able to learn about the different educational systems of the member states and meet colleagues with similar interests from all over Europe.

One of the most important projects of EDSA are mobility projects: European Visiting Programme (EVP), summer and winter camps. Their aim is to connect students and enable them to visit another university in Europe for a few days. During their stay on the mobility project, lectures and workshops are organized for students where they can develop their skills and gain new knowledge in the field of dental medicine. In addition, the program includes organized cultural and social activities.

EDSA magazine is published twice a year in physical and digital form. Students present clinical cases, write professional articles, and also write articles about their own experiences.

By organizing competitions such as the EDSA Lecture competition and the FDI-ERO Scientific Reward, students are encouraged to engage in scientific and research work.

EDSA regularly marks events and days important for preserving oral health through social media, thus informing students and the general public about public health actions crucial to the field of dental medicine.

During the year, two meetings are held: one in the spring and the other in the summer. All students from EDSA member states, which of course includes Croatia, can participate in the meetings. The 69th meeting of the Association was held in April 2022 in Zagreb, and for this project, the student members of the organizing committee were awarded the Rector's Award.

We hereby invite you to register to participate in one of the many EDSA activities and get involved in our great European story.

Projects EDSA-e does not carry the School:

● EDSA Summer camp Dubrovnik

● EVP Zagreb

In addition, each state that is a member of EDSA has its own delegate who is elected for a one-year term.

In the academic year 2025/26, Croatia's delegate to EDSA is Luka Hrupački.
