Summary
The School of Dental Medicine at the University of Zagreb possesses a state-of-the-art research infrastructure for dental materials testing. This infrastructure, along with the internationally recognized expertise of its scientific staff, represents a significant, yet largely untapped, commercial potential.
This project will create a self-sustaining Research Center of University of Zagreb School of Dental Medicine (acronym ResDent UniZg). By hiring a dedicated Business Development Manager and one Laboratory Technician, we will bridge the gap between our scientific capabilities and industry needs. The project will establish clear business processes, develop a professional service portfolio with transparent pricing, and actively engage the market.

This will relieve the scientific staff, maximize infrastructure utilization, and create a structured pathway for industry collaboration.

Our primary strategic goal is to establish ResDent UniZg as the leading partner for the dental and related industries in Southeast Europe for the development, testing, and validation of new products.

The key objectives of this plan are to:

• professionalize our operational model,
• optimize access to our infrastructure and services,
• enhance the business competencies of our staff,
• strengthen collaboration with industry, and
• increase the visibility of the Research Center to ensure its long-term financial sustainability.
